This is amazing and makes my head hurt to think of all the work and squinting that went into it

Thanks for the list. As for the show, I liked the first season a lot. The other day I started season 2 and then stopped during the basement monolague by the cousin. I was thinking about the"purpose" of the scene....... So I then I binged the whole season of Silo (and then bought the books). Does Bear 2 get better (more like Season 1) and should I just fast forward through the Richie's search for a purpose? It was starting to remind me of a play an old boyfriend wrote...mulling over the life of being a man.... And the opening music was just bad, in my opinion. The Show Goes On by Bruce Hornsby & The Range may be ironic and whatever, but it is not worth the pain and gagging. Wiki says of the song: featured in Ron Howard's 1991 film Backdraft, as well as the pilot episode of Baywatch.......[Apologies if I have insulted any fans of the music or the artist(s)] ...WAIT, I forgot this post was about cookbooks (and the show forgot it was about a restaurant).

It does get more restaurant-y towards the end of the season (and I think the Richie storyline as one of the better payoffs!).

If the books were chosen to speak to his personality and considering that there are books as recent as sweet enough, and books for cooking as homely as Ina Garten, I missed Sal, Fat, acid heat by Samin Nosrat…
