such an important interview with Anna, who is wonderful--so knowledgable, direct, passionate and vital in breaking down barriers and misconceptions in the food world. Thank you for sharing it.
About time people got excited about Ukrainian cuisine. I first heard about it from, of all people, Diana Kennedy, who included several Ukrainian recipes in her Nothing Fancy personal cookbook.
On another subject, I don't think there should be sponsored listings for cookbooks. I read this to see what's interesting to YOU, and get annoyed by ads. It's also a bit of a disservice to the authors whose ads are taken out by the publisher or whoever - they're second class citizens, which definitely should not be the case for an amazing new book like Sandra Gutierrez's....
So happy to see Anna featured here! I had the honor of cohosting an Instagram Live with her a few years ago (back when IG lives were still cool). She is so sweet, such an amazing chef, and a huge advocate for her country and culture. I’m so happy to see all of her success and for Ukrainian cuisine getting the attention it deserves!

I’ve been loving Budmo all year for both its recipes and look--a very nice cookbook all in all. loved reading this thoughtful interview. Thanks.
Thank you for sharing this. It felt important to read and now I'm even more excited for Anna's next book!
