"The Passionate Cook--The Very Best of Karen Barnaby" collects sophisticated, innovative and tasty recipes (particularly seafood) from several cookbooks by a fine Vancouver (former Torontonian) chef.

I have a couple of Edna Staebler's Schmeck books. I bought them in a bookstore in Ganonoque, where we were vacationing one summer. She is so charming!
